• This place literally cries : "Amuse yourself!" Bicycle, people-watch and walk the boardwalk.
  
• Be attentive! While strolling you can notice Harry Perry, the turbaned guitar player who has often appeared on TV.
• Muscle Beach is a special place where fanatic bodybuilders participate in a public show of strength.

"What is there not to like about Venice Beach?"

I love how there were different people doing different activities. Whether it be working out at Muscle beach, balling up at the basketball court, skating on the boardwalk, or tanning on the beach.One thing you can't go without noticing though, is the strong smell of good weed.I prefer Venice than Santa Monica even though its a couple blocks away.

"Mixed feelings about this beach"

The beach is awesome, I love the ocean. But this one.. ehhh. I visited on Earth Day (yesterday), I don't know if that had anything to do with all the extra weed smoking haha. It was really interesting to see all the hippies & bums just smoking & passing in public.. and there was cops!

Lunch was good, can't remember the name unfortunately. But the performers aggressively asking for tips while you're eating, didn't feel great.. made me feel guilty.
Loved all of the dogs! But didn't like the random condoms on the ground haha. Parking is a b-word. We paid $10, we were there maybe around 4ish hours. We looked for parking for a while but finally just paid for it.
Be careful with your little ones.. there are some dogs that aren't on leashes & wouldn't want anything to happen to the children. Not to mention the people that hardly wear anything haha inn-appropriate for little eyes.
